The Student Journey
Welcome, student registrants.
AHSIE 2027 is built with you in mind. Whether this is your first AHSIE conference or you’re returning for another year, this is your guide to making the most of your experience in Seattle—from preparing before you arrive to staying connected long after the conference ends.
Scholarship opportunity
AHSIE is committed to creating opportunities for students to participate, connect, and grow as leaders within the HSI community. Each year, AHSIE awards scholarships to eligible students at the associate, bachelor’s, and graduate/doctoral levels to help make attending the AHSIE Best Practices Conference possible.
Scholarship awards include conference registration, travel and hotel expenses, and a cash scholarship. Recipients are also recognized during the AHSIE conference and have the opportunity to connect with HSI professionals, broaden their networks, and develop meaningful mentorship relationships.
Interested in applying for a scholarship? The 2027 Scholarship application portal opens on Monday, September 14, 2026. Winners will be announced in late 2026/early 2027. Stay connected with AHSIE for application details.
Scholarship recipients will be recognized during AHSIE 2027. More information about this year's recipients and the recognition opportunity will be shared here as details are finalized.
